Jungs was originally founded in 1942 by Henry P Jung who came to Beaconsfield after training as a Konditor meister in Germany. Henry opened the business as a continental bakery & patisserie, bringing to the business considerable confectionery skills and a wealth of experience having worked at the now immortalised "Lyons Corner House", Piccadilly, London, where he was the youngest ever Head chef to have worked there.
Although Jungs still firmly believe in adhering to traditional values today, under the third generation of the family, Jung's has established an excellent reputation as a continental bakery, patisserie. Jung's prides itself of the calibre of its bakers and confectioners, all who are highly trained Masters gaining their skills and experience on the continent.
Jungs' café offers a full range of salads, sandwiches and hot dishes plus a range of wines, cold drinks, coffees and cakes which are available throughout the day. They also have an extensive range of sandwiches and hot food prepared freshly each day on the premises to take-a-away. Jung's has an in-house cakes service and can offer a wide range of cakes and gateaux which are prepared freshly and can be made to order.
Jungs also supplies a number of well known hotels, restaurants and stores in the Thames Valley area with their bakery & patisserie products.
